Address: 64 tran phu, TP Hoi An,

Located at 64 Trần Phú st, Hội An, facing to Hoài river, also called Dương Thương or Trung Hoa Asembly Hall, Ngũ Bang Assembly Hall (the assembly hall of five Chinese congregations) was constructed in 1741 by all Chinese minority groups in Hoi An, namely the following: Fujian, Chaozhou, Cantonese, Hainanese and Hakka to be a place of meeting and sacred space of the community. Its main altar features an image of Mazu, the Chinese Goddess of the Sea, as the Hoi An Chinese community was predominently comprised of merchants and seafarers. Despite centuries having gone by with many restorations, its original architecture is preserved in a fascinating combination of the typical Chinese and traditional elements of Hội An. Visitors can also find the model of vintage boat used by Chinese merchants when they traded across the sea and some others valuable artifacts preserved here.
