Buddhish pagoda in the ancient town. According to the history books, it was built by Minh Huong people in 1653 - the period of the formation of the Hoi An Ancient Town, over the same period of Quan Cong temple (Ong pagoda). In the early 20th century, the pagoda was relocated to its present location due to many factors, behind the campus of Ong Pagoda. Currently, the pagoda still retains its unique architectural features with a massive wooden truss, column, rafter system. The wood carvings of Quan Am Pagoda are exquisitely done by Kim Bong carpentry artisans, representing woodcarving art of Hoi An. The main hall is decorated simply but dignified, the middle of the pagoda worships Buddha, the two sides worship Bodhisattva and other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. In 1991, Quan Am pagoda was recognized as a national historical and cultural relic of Viet Nam.
