Sa Huynh Culture Museum is located at an ancient house with French architecture at 149 Tran Phu Street, Hoi An. The museum displays an adequate and unique collection of 971 artifacts related to the ancient inhabitants of the Sa Huynh culture system (dating more than 2000 years ago). They are considered as owners of the pre-commercial port of Hoi An, which used to have a relationship with the whole Southeast Asia region, South India, and China. The interesting thing is that the artifacts have very reliable archaeological addresses, along with the artifacts are systematic documents, photographs.... illustrating their position in the ground. Through documents and artifacts, the Museum also reflects various information about burial customs, life-death conceptions, aesthetic perception, exchange relationships, etc... of the ancient inhabitants of the Sa Huynh culture in Hoi an. In particular, the Museum also displays a quantity of artifacts discovered at Bai Ong site - Cham islands, proving that there were indigenous people living here more than 3000 years ago.
