This is the Buddhist center of the Champa kingdom, built in 875 during the reign of King Indravarman II. Through scientific research documents and archaeological sites, Dong Duong is the most typical relic of Champa Buddhist architecture and the whole of Southeast Asia, with monasteries and Bodhisattva temples. for the dynasty, located next to each other running for 1,330m in the direction from West to East. In particular, the temple area is located in a rectangular belt, about 300m long and 240m wide. Although it has become ruins, the underground of Dong Duong still contains many cultural and historical values. In the early years of the twentieth century, French scientists unearthed hundreds of priceless sculptures. The sculptures of this period brought elements of Mahayana Buddhism, combined with Hindu art, along with the unique creations of local artisans, forming the Dong Duong style. famous in Champa art from the middle to the end of the 9th century. Currently, this relic has been severely damaged by nature and war, only the gate of the Bright tower remains.
