Pink lips and blue eyes
Shining doubt.
History books call her Bo Bo Lady.
We call her the epiphany Thu Bon Mother.
(Vu Duc Sao Bien - In honor of Mother Thu Bon).
This is the relic of Ba Thu Bon's mausoleum located behind Thu Bon Pagoda, going west of Duy Xuyen district on the Nam Phuoc route to the Forestry junction about 20km, continuing to the west along the south bank of the Thu River about 8km to the village. Thu Bon Dong, Duy Tan commune.
The date of construction of Ba Thu Bon's mausoleum is unknown, only knowing that the mausoleum was built on the foundation of an ancient Champa temple or architecture. Many relics have proved it such as ancient Sanskrit stone stele (Sankrit), many bricks and many Buddha statues. Today, the old road is only a small masterpiece (alley) in the village, but folk still circulate the name of the masterpiece Ong Phat.
In the past, Ba's mausoleum was very small, just enough to place the altar and her grave. In 2003, the Ba mausoleum was newly built and more spacious, on a spacious campus that is very convenient for organizing the annual Ba festival. Tomb of Ba Thu Bon or Bo Bo Lady, associated with local traditional folk festivals.
There are many legends and legends about Madame Thu Bon. The people of Thu Bon often refer to her with sacred reverence, making the legend of her inherently illusory, piling up many layers of early, late and multi-meaningful cultures.
It is said that once upon a time, there was a rich husband and wife who gave birth to a daughter. When she was born, she had waist-length hair and was very beautiful. Especially when she was born, she laughed loudly, not crying like many other children. Hearing the strange story, people from all over the world flocked to see it, everyone loved it.
At the age of five, she knew how to use the leaves and roots of plants in the garden to treat diseases for people and animals. The good news spread far and wide, many terminally ill people, no matter how far away, also came to her for treatment, healed quickly without spending money. She did not accept even a small gift from anyone.

She ignored the many marriage proposals of the kings and sons and devoted all her strength to the work of saving humanity. At the age of 50, the villagers worshiped her as Our Lady of Perpetual Savior. One day she said: By mid-February, she will go somewhere else. That morning, she sat cross-legged in front of her house and her testament would enter Bong Lai before the hour of the Horse on the 12th day of the second lunar month.
According to her testament, the villagers did not use cloth for the burial, but only wrapped them with natural flowers and leaves placed in the village communal house until the end of the week (seven days). The dignitaries and dignitaries in the village took turns on duty to take care of the incense for seven days and seven nights.
The people mourned, so to repay her grace, they built a very dignified shrine to worship her, in the style of a mausoleum, and honored her with a white porcelain flower box that had impregnated her body before returning to worship. annual ceremony. Her grave is still located in the palace.
There is a historical story that: Mrs. Thu Bon is a Champa; is a female general with very beautiful long hair. After losing the battle, she wanted to run back to My Son, but when she reached the village of Thu Bon, her hair got tangled in a tree branch. She fell from the elephant and was killed. Later, young girls with long hair rarely dared to go through the palace for fear of being "punished" by her. Those who unfortunately unintentionally let long hair pass by the palace are often tortured by the grandmother, have to cut that lock of hair and offer it to her. That is why in the past in the palace hung the curls of those who unintentionally desecrated. According to legend, she did so to warn of the harmful effects of long hair in the life and work of agricultural residents, as well as when it was necessary to go to war.
There is also a legend that says: Madame Thu Bon or Bo Bo Phu Nhan was a female general of the Le Dynasty, pursued by the enemy to Thu Bon village, fell from her horse, her hair was wrapped around the horse's leg, so she could not escape. She was killed by the enemy. People admire the establishment of a mausoleum to worship her and right on her grave there is a woman's hair band.
Ward Rnh village (Que Trung commune, Que Son district) about 15km from Ba Thu Bon mausoleum upstream of the Thu River also has a place to worship Ba Thu Bon. Legend has it that when she died in Ward Rnh, she drifted down to the current Thu Bon area along the river, then people built graves and built a mausoleum to worship her. After her death, she had an epiphany and was ordained "Thuc Hanh My Duc". She married Mr. Cao Cat Dai Vuong under the yin, gave the village of Thu Bon a bull and a few mandarins of money. When she was not ordained, the boat passed through Ghenh Ba, often spontaneously catching fire and burning down the sail.

Up to now, there are still a number of places associated with her in Ward Rnh such as Ao Ba, Ruong Ba, Bai Ba, Ghenh Ba and one of them has entered local folklore and proverbs:
Ghenh Ba fish wade up and down
Ong Waterfall, the sand crow spread out on alluvial grounds.
King Minh Mang ordained her as Bo Bo Thuong of the highest order with the title "Thuc Hanh My Duc Bo Bo Lady". Thus, about the legend of Ba Thu Bon's tears, although on the Tablet it is written as Bo Bo Lady, the people here are still used to calling her after the name of her hometown river, Mrs. Thu Bon. The stele to worship Ba at the mausoleum is written in Chinese pha Nom, the Champa sound has been Vietnameseized into Bo Bo.
As we all know, Thu Bon River has a very special meaning. If the Ganges river is the sacred river of Hinduism, the Thu Bon river also carries a sacred meaning in the hearts of the Champa people next to the My Son Hindu temple complex.
Remnants of the old foundation, stele and broken stone statues are lined up along both sides of the masterpiece Ong Phat road from Ba Tomb to My Son. From there, we think of the old scene. This place often takes place big festivals every year. When the Vietnamese came, they received the local culture subtly, with a cultural mixture in mind and expression. Since then, Ba Thu Bon's mausoleum has been taken by the locals on the 12th day of the second lunar month every year as the day when the ancient Champa people sacrificed to the earth god and the god of thunder or sacrificed Ba Bo Bo - Mother worship, as the main sacrifice day of the inhabitants. Vietnamese people in the Thu Bon - Vu Gia river area.
Previously, Ba Tomb was built outside near the river's edge, now due to landslides, it has been moved to the new location now.
The mausoleum was completely restored in 2003 and restored in 2016 according to modern architecture, including the front hall and the post-mortem. Previously, her grave was oval in shape, slightly curved at both ends, but now it has been reinforced many times, so it has a rectangular shape. Tomb of Ba was built on a large campus to the East, in front there is a screen, to the right of the mausoleum there is a stone stele engraved with ancient Cham characters and a stele engraved with the content of the relic approved by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province. Nam issued Decision No. 436/QD/UBND/2005, dated 15/2/2005, ranking provincial relic. The beer was established by the Department of Culture and Information of Duy Xuyen district.

Today, Le Ba festival has entered the consciousness of every citizen; It is an opportunity for relatives far from home to sincerely appreciate her merits, pray for all businesses to prosper, a place to meet and meet talented couples and beautiful women to show their talents. A solemn offering to her; In addition to cake, fruit, sticky rice, and chicken, an indispensable sacrifice is a buffalo that has been slaughtered but not yet processed.
